Best time to visit
- June to September (dry season, ideal for gorilla trekking).

Visa & Entry Requirements

Getting around Rwanda
- Public Transport: Public buses and minivans operate in major towns. In Kigali, the bus network is well-organized and affordable.
- Moto Taxis: The most popular and efficient way to navigate cities. Always wear a helmet (provided by the rider).
- Car Hire: Recommended for tourists visiting national parks or remote areas. A 4×4 vehicle is ideal for safaris and countryside travel.
- Domestic Flights: Limited but available between Kigali and select tourism regions like Akagera or Volcanoes National Park via charter services.
